Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has announced a significant decision to rehabilitate and maintain dialysis centers that have been out of service during the ongoing conflict in Sudan. The decision includes ensuring that patient treatments are continued at the state’s expense.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Idris emphasized the importance of reestablishing kidney transplant services within the country. This move aims to ease the burden on patients and reduce the necessity for them to seek treatment abroad.
Furthermore, Dr. Idris highlighted the urgent need to rehabilitate oncology treatment centers. The government will focus on providing essential radiotherapy and chemotherapy services to cancer patients across various states in Sudan.
