Khartoum: The General Authority for Geological Research has signed a contract to supply modern and advanced equipment for its chemical analysis laboratory. This move aims to replace laboratories destroyed by the war and establish an integrated analytical infrastructure within the country.
According to Sudan News Agency, the contract is part of the Corporation’s efforts to indigenize chemical analysis services and reduce reliance on external laboratories. This initiative is expected to accelerate analysis processes, reduce costs, improve the quality of results, and support geological research and mineral exploration more efficiently.
The Corporation has affirmed that this development represents a significant step in building a sustainable and advanced mining sector. It aligns with the strategic vision to promote mineral resources as a national economic lever.
