Khartoum: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has welcomed the statements from friendly and sisterly countries, which have unequivocally condemned and rejected the illegal declaration by the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and the Ta’sees Alliance to form a so-called “parallel government” in Sudan.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized in a statement on Wednesday that these countries’ positions clearly express support for the existing legitimate government in Sudan and respect for the nation’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. The statements reject any illegitimate steps or measures taken outside the framework of the official institutions of the Republic of Sudan that could undermine its unity. They also highlight that the declaration lacks legal or political legitimacy, as it was issued by an alliance with an outlaw militia without any popular or constitutional support.
The Ministry reiterated that these supportive positions reflect the commitment of these countries to the principles of international law. The Sudanese government, expressing its gratitude to these nations, looks forward to further cooperation and engagement with them on all issues aimed at promoting Sudan’s unity, stability, and security.
