Khartoum: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan has expressed its deep concern over recent developments in the region following the US strike on Iranian nuclear facilities early Sunday morning. It added, in a statement it issued Sunday, that this “pushes the region toward further complications that negatively impact international stability, peace, and security.”
According to Sudan News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its previous statement from June 13, which emphasized its rejection of any violation of the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Ministry called on all parties, with the support of the international community, to prioritize and pursue peaceful, negotiated solutions to the crisis to ensure the preservation of international peace and security.
