Foreign Minister Engages in Strategic Bilateral Discussions with Arab Leaders

Amman: Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salim, conducted a series of bilateral meetings with several Arab foreign ministers during the Council of the League of Arab States' ministerial-level meeting in Jordan.According to Sudan News Agency, the discussions included Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jabir Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, and Libya's Acting Foreign Minister Tahir Al-Baour. Ambassador Salim provided updates on Sudan's situation, focusing on the reactivation of state institutions in Khartoum and ongoing efforts to rebuild infrastructure impacted by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.Ambassador Salim emphasized the positive progress towards restoring state authority across Sudan, while addressing challenges posed by external military support to the R SF. Discussions also centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Sudan and Arab nations.The Arab foreign ministers reiterated their support for Sudan's security and sovereignty, pledging continued assistance to help Sudan navigate its current challenges and strengthen partnerships.
