Khartoum: The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning has announced the completion of the network link between the Ministry of Higher Education and the Electronic Collection and Payment System, known as “Isali”.
According to Sudan News Agency, Abdullah Ibrahim, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for the Implementation of the Electronic Collection and Payment System, disclosed in a press statement that payment methods approved by the Central Bank of Sudan (CBoS) are now available for use by higher education students and citizens. These methods enable payments for government services provided by the Ministry of Higher Education through a network of banks that have signed agreements with the Ministry of Finance after meeting the necessary conditions for implementing the system.
Ibrahim further explained that the electronic system enables citizens to utilize all electronic payment methods available through the participating banks to pay and collect fees for government services and transactions electronically. This development, he noted, contributes to saving time, effort, and money while facilitating secure financial transactions for government services.
