Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Pakistani counterpart Muhammad Ishaq Dar stressed, during a phone call on Monday, the significance of continuing negotiations between the United States and Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers emphasized that ongoing negotiations are essential to reaching mutually acceptable understandings that support de-escalation efforts and enhance security and stability in the region.
They also underscored the need to prioritize political and diplomatic solutions to the current crisis in order to prevent further escalation and avoid broader repercussions for the countries and peoples of the region.
The two ministers affirmed their commitment to continued coordination and consultation in the coming period as part of efforts to help reach an agreement between the United States and Iran that addresses the concerns of all parties and contributes to ending the conflict and strengthening regional security and stability.
