Khartoum: Minister of Education and National Orientation Dr. Al-Tohami Al-Zein Hajar inspected the Khartoum International Institute for Arabic Language to assess damage caused by the rebel militia during the war against the Sudanese state.
According to Sudan News Agency, the minister announced that $2.5 million has been allocated to support the institute following the findings of a damage assessment committee. He emphasized the institute's significant regional role in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.
Institute officials have confirmed that academic programs are continuing remotely, expressing their hope for the resumption of in-person studies once rehabilitation efforts are completed.
