Kassala: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nawara Abu Mohamed, has visited the Hadalia area of East Delta Locality as part of her state tour of eastern Sudan, accompanied by Kassala State Wali (governor) Maj. Gen. (Rrd) Al-Sadig Mohamed Al-Azrag. During her visit, Dr. Nawara reviewed development efforts and addressed the challenges facing water harvesting operations in the Waqar area.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Nawara also inspected service and health centers in the locality, including the Hadalia Health Center, to ensure their readiness to receive patients. Addressing a mass gathering in Hadalia Locality, she affirmed her commitment to addressing the issues of eastern Sudan and providing basic services to its citizens. She emphasized efforts to ensure security and stability in the region and praised its historic role in supporting national issues.
Dr. Nawara commended Nazir (Chieftain) Terik for his role in uniting national ranks, mending the social fabric, and promoting a
culture of peace, love, and active participation in national matters. The Wali of Kassala State also expressed his government’s determination to provide necessary services, address development and service issues, combat negative phenomena, and empower youth in the coming period.
Nazir Terik expressed optimism regarding Dr. Nawara’s selection, viewing it as a positive step toward resolving issues in eastern Sudan. He highlighted the important role of Sudanese women in supporting the peace and development process and reiterated confidence in the leadership’s wisdom in promoting peace and security. Terik declared his rejection of conspiracies against Sudan, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the dignity of Sudanese citizens and upholding the prestige of the Sudanese state.
