Jakarta: HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, met with HE Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, during an official visit to Indonesia. The meeting took place following an official reception ceremony at the Indonesian Ministry of Defense headquarters.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on the latest security developments in the region and explored avenues for military cooperation and joint coordination amidst current global circumstances. A significant outcome of the meeting was the signing of a deal between Barzan Holdings and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense. Additionally, a partnership agreement was established between Barzan Holdings and Republikorp, marking a step forward in bilateral defense collaboration.
The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Indonesia, Sultan bin Mubarak Al Dosari, as well as several senior officers and officials from both countries, underscoring the commitment to strengthening defense ties.
