Al-obeid: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Shams-Eddin Kabashi, met Sunday in Al-Obeid with the People’s Resistance Committees from North, South, and West Kordofan states. The meeting included discussions with the Walis (governors) of North Kordofan, Abdel-Khalig Abdel-Latif Wadat-Allah, West Kordofan Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Mohamed Adam Jaid, and Chair of the Supreme People’s Resistance Committee, Lt. Gen. Bashir Maki Al-Bahi.
According to Sudan News Agency, General Kabashi acknowledged the critical role played by the People’s Resistance Committees nationwide, especially in Kordofan, in bolstering the Armed Forces during the Battle of Dignity and achieving victories on all combat fronts. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and coordination between the Armed Forces and various social components, as represented by the People’s Resistance Committees, to ensure ongoing support for the Armed Forces in their mission to maintain Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity.
