North Bahri: The North Bahri Criminal Court issued a death sentence by hanging against the accused (E. M. A. E.) after convicting him in criminal case No. (11/2025) for violating the provisions of Articles (26-50-51) of the Sudanese Criminal Code of 1991, amended in 2020. The charges included assisting rebel forces in efforts to undermine the constitutional system and inciting war against the state. The ruling was given in the presence of the defense lawyer, while the prosecution was led by First Deputy Prosecutor, Mawlana Ezz El-Din Hussein Juma.
According to Sudan News Agency, the conviction and subsequent death sentence highlight the ongoing judicial processes targeting actions perceived as threats to the nation’s constitutional stability. The court’s decision reflects Sudan’s stringent legal stance on activities deemed as supporting insurrection and destabilizing national security.
