Damascus: The Syrian Civil Defense firefighting brigades successfully extinguished 13 fires that erupted in various locations across the country over the past 24 hours, resulting in only material damage.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency, the firefighting teams managed to control a fire in al-Shariaa village located in the al-Ghab area of Hama’s western countryside. Additionally, they tackled two fires in New Aleppo and the al-Mahmoudiya neighborhood in Afrin city, north of Aleppo.
The brigades also responded to fires in several other locations including Khan Touman, south of Aleppo, as well as in the Idlib and Lattakia countrysides. In Damascus province, fires were extinguished in the Qaboun neighborhood, Mazzeh area, and near Umayyad Square.
Furthermore, the teams addressed additional fires that occurred in various areas throughout the Damascus governorate, working tirelessly to prevent the spread and minimize damage.
