Khartoum: The Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority issued a statement on Wednesday, commenting on the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) decision to suspend flights by Sudanese airlines.
According to Sudan News Agency, the statement expressed surprise at the UAE authorities’ ban on Sudanese airlines from landing at UAE airports and noted the prevention of a Sudanese airline from taking off from Abu Dhabi Airport.
The statement further indicated that the Civil Aviation Authority is actively engaging with concerned bodies to address the situation. It also mentioned that efforts are being made in collaboration with airlines to reschedule reservations for passengers affected by the suspension of flights between Sudan and the UAE.
