Central Bank Monitors Currency Exchange Operations in Bahri

Bahri: The Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS) monitoring operations room inspected currency exchange procedures at several commercial bank branches in Bahri, including the Real Estate Bank, Omdurman National Bank, Export Development Bank, Farmers Commercial Bank, and Nile Bank.

According to Sudan News Agency, bank managers confirmed that operations are proceeding smoothly, with expectations of increased deposits of targeted currency categories before the end of the exchange period. They also reported a rise in account openings and activation of banking applications, along with the establishment of new service windows in areas with limited banking coverage.

The currency exchange period is scheduled to end on 15 May.
