Port sudan: The joint meeting of the Cabinet's specialized technical committees on Wednesday approved, at its first stage, the draft emergency state budget for the 2026 fiscal year, presented by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Abdullah Ibrahim, amid broad commendation of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Finance and its affiliated units.
According to Sudan News Agency, the committees, meeting under the chairmanship of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Ali Mohammed Ali, at the Cabinet headquarters in Port Sudan, put forward a number of observations and recommended endorsing the draft budget after incorporating these remarks, paving the way for its submission to the Council of Ministers for final endorsement.
