Armed Forces Condemns Violations Following Wad Madani’s Liberation

Khartoum: The Armed Forces has issued a strong condemnation of individual violations occurring in certain areas of Al-Gezira State following the recent liberation of Wad Madani city. The military emphasized its commitment to international law and vowed to hold accountable anyone involved in violations affecting residents in Kanabi and the villages of the state.

According to Sudan News Agency, the General Command of the Armed Forces released a statement expressing their dedication to monitoring the security situation in the region. They are coordinating with the Al-Jazirah state security committee to secure the area and prevent any parties from exploiting these incidents to unjustly blame the Armed Forces and their allies. Furthermore, the statement highlighted ongoing atrocities committed by the terrorist militia of Al-Dalgo against civilians, which have been largely ignored.
