Dar es salaam: Al-Hilal will face Tanzanian team Singida Black Stars at 2:00 PM tomorrow, Monday, in the final of the East and Central Africa Club Championship (CECAFA Kagame Cup 2025) at KMC Stadium in the Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Hilal qualified for the final after defeating Rwanda’s Army team 3-1 in an exciting semifinal match, in which the team initially fell behind by one goal. Following several substitutions, Al-Hilal turned the game in its favor by scoring three goals.
On the other side, Singida eliminated fellow Tanzanian side KMC with a 2-0 victory. The team is considered a reflection of the development of Tanzanian football and is participating in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup after finishing fourth in the Tanzanian league.
The match and the tournament serve as excellent preparation for Al-Hilal as it looks forward to starting its African Clubs campaign against South Sudan’s Buffaloes next week.
