Atbara: Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism Khalid Al-Eisir, along with the Wali of River Nile State Dr. Mohamed El-Badawi Abdel-Majid Abuqroun, State Minister of Culture and Information Mustafa Al-Sharif, and Director General of the Sudanese General Corporation for Radio and Television Ibrahim Al-Buzai, conducted a tour of several media institutions in Atbara.
According to Sudan News Agency, the tour included visits to River Nile Satellite Channel, Atbara Radio, National Radio, the Sudanese General Corporation for Radio and Television, and Khartoum International Channel. The minister assessed the workflow and operations at these institutions and acknowledged the performance and professionalism of their staff.
Al-Eisir announced that the Government of Hope is pursuing a policy to expand state institutions beyond the capital. He revealed plans for his ministry to establish a regional center for the Sudanese General Corporation for Radio and Television in Atbara.
