Khartoum: Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism, Khalid Al-Eiaisr, has condemned the continuous external sanctions and statements by foreign entities, labeling them as breaches of international charters and attempts to undermine the achievements of Sudan’s military forces. Al-Eiaisr emphasized that these actions have become predictable maneuvers following military victories by Sudan’s armed forces.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Eiaisr expressed his views in a social media post titled ‘Ink on Paper!’ on Saturday, criticizing the imposition of unilateral sanctions on Sudanese leadership and national organizations. He argued that these measures are selective and reflect double standards, as they often coincide with moments of public celebration over military successes.
Al-Eiaisr further asserted that no external entity should dictate the choices of the Sudanese people, who are well aware of the underlying motives of these international actions. He described the sanctions and statements as ineffecti
ve, and reiterated the resilience of the Sudanese in pursuing national interests and defending their homeland.
He concluded by affirming the determination of the Sudanese people to continue their struggle against militias, particularly in regions like Darfur and Kordofan, in line with legal and constitutional frameworks.
