Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has affirmed that the Sudanese police were a key partner in the Battle for Dignity. He praised their effective role in military operations since the beginning of the fight against the rebellion, their significant contribution to protecting public and private property, and facilitating the return of citizens to their homes.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Burhan, speaking at the 30th Briefing conference of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism, organized by the Sudan News Agency in Khartoum and hosted by the Minister of Interior, stated that the return of the capital, Khartoum, to the nation’s bosom came after great sacrifices, during which tens of thousands of martyrs were recorded. He emphasized that defeating the rebellion and expelling it from the capital was the result of the unity and solidarity of the regular forces, including the police forces.
