Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has sent a congratulatory cable to His Excellency the President of the sisterly Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the occasion of Democracy and National Unity Day.
According to Sudan News Agency, TSC President expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency President Erdogan for health and happiness, and to the brotherly Turkish people for progress and prosperity. He emphasized the significance of Democracy and National Unity Day, on which the Turkish people have set immortal positions in defending their free will and democratic choice.
Al-Burhan underscored that this historic occasion embodies a model of cohesion between the leadership and the people, highlighting to the entire world that the will of the people is invincible. He noted that homelands are protected by the unity of their people and their awareness of the dangers of conspiracies against stability and security.
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council further noted the depth and strength of the solid relations between the two countries. He expressed Sudan’s aspiration to strengthen the bonds of joint bilateral cooperation, aiming to serve the interests and aspirations of the two brotherly peoples towards security, development, and prosperity.
