Khartoum: Minister of Culture and Information Khalid Al-Aiser has affirmed the state’s concern with the development and revitalization of the cultural sector despite the destruction of its infrastructure in museums, collectibles, and houses of artists, writers, poets and artists.
According to Sudan News Agency, the minister emphasized this commitment while addressing a night of music aimed at strengthening the Sudanese conscience at the Artists’ House on Sunday evening. He highlighted the Ministry of Culture and Information’s significant efforts to revive these cultural institutions, despite the limited number of human resources within the ministry.
The minister further explained that the ministry is eager to collaborate with various institutions to foster societal integration and provide necessary support for the cultural sector. This open-handed approach aims to restore and enhance the cultural landscape, ensuring its sustainability for future generations.
