El-fashir: The 6th Infantry Division in El-Fashir has described the 227th Dignity Battle in El-Fashir, fought by the heroes of the 6th Division on Monday, with the support of the Joint Force of the Armed Struggle Movements and other supporting forces, after the massive attack launched by the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on El-Fashir from all directions, which lasted for eight hours, described the battle as one of the fiercest battles recorded in the history of the 6th Division in El-Fashir, considering it an unprecedented heroic epic in the Dignity War.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Sixth Division confirmed, in its press briefing, that the RSF militia had suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment, announcing the deaths of Colonel Khala (not studied in military college) Abdel-Aziz Ab Karnaki, a native of Kabkabiya; militiamen Salih, commander of Group 37 and Ahmed Salih, second-in-command of artillery. Also a large number of vehicles and equipment were also destroyed and burned, the listing of which is still underway.
The 6th Infantry Division added that those who remained fled the battlefield, leaving behind the bodies of their dead and wounded, as well as their vehicles, in the Dignity Square.
The Division’s press briefing noted that the sounds of Dushka machine guns and quadruple cannons, and the impact of internationally banned shells on the city at the start of the battle, were extremely violent. However, the resolve of the armed forces’ cavalry remained as strong as it had been for more than two years, until victory was achieved, and the rights of the martyrs and citizens were avenged.
The commandership of the Sixth Infantry Division expressed its gratitude to its heroes, the Joint Force, the police, the General Intelligence Service, the Popular Resistance, and those on alert and mobilized.
The Sixth Division said, “You have raised our heads and proven that Sudan will not be attacked from the Sultan’s Fashir.”
The Sixth Infantry Division sent a message to the enemy, saying, “To those who boast about the possibility of raising the militia flag over the Sixth Division headquarters: Come, but this time, to remove the bodies of your commanders and mercenaries from the outskirts of El-Fashir.”
The Sixth Infantry Division reiterated the stability of the situation on the ground in the city, thanks to Allah Almighty and then to the cohesion of all forces, which it said enjoy high morale.
