Dongola:Several new facilities and buildings, including officers' accommodation, were inaugurated today at the headquarters of the Sudanese-Libyan Joint Forces, coinciding with the graduation ceremony for participants in the 338th Basic Intelligence Course. The event was attended by military and executive officials and a number of guests.According to Sudan News Agency, prominent attendees included Dr. Makawi Al-Khair Al-Waqee, representative of the Wali of Northern State, and Major General Engineer Ahmed Yagoub Maala, Commander of the Desert Axis Control. Other notable figures present were Major General Bashir Saeed Abdullah, Commander of the 19th Infantry Division, Major General Asaad Hassanein Bashir, Commander of the Dongola Operational Sector, and Major General Dr. Abdul-Rahman Ahmed Faqeeri, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. The gathering also included Dr. Manal Makawi, Secretary-General for Social Affairs, Major General Mahmoud Yousuf Mahmoud Mismar, Commander of the Joint Forces, and the Director of the Military Intelligence Institute, along with other military leaders and guests.The opening of these new facilities is part of a broader initiative to enhance infrastructure, improve the working environment, and bolster operational performance. The graduation of the intelligence course participants underscores the leadership's commitment to training, qualification, and capacity building.The ceremony highlighted the dual focus on facility development and human resource investment through ongoing training and skill enhancement.
