Khartoum:Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris, together with Minister of Energy Engineer Al-Mo'tasem Ibrahim and Khartoum State Wali Ahmed Othman Hamza, visited several fuel stations in Khartoum on Wednesday. The visit aimed to assess fuel availability and guarantee a continuous supply to the citizens.
According to Sudan News Agency, during this inspection, the Prime Minister highlighted a shift from military to economic warfare, asserting that the economic challenges could be overcome. He instructed that more petroleum products be delivered to fuel stations and emphasized the importance of swift distribution to prevent congestion. Additionally, he called on banks to resolve technical issues with banking applications to better serve citizens.
Khartoum State Wali Ahmed Othman Hamza praised the citizens for their endurance during the war and acknowledged the ongoing economic challenges. He confirmed that fuel supplies are sufficient and announced plans to increase the delivery of petroleum products to stations throughout the capital.
The Prime Minister's visit was positively received by the public, who expressed appreciation, noting that such engagements bolster confidence in the government and its dedication to essential services. They showed their support by chanting, "One Army, One People."
