Dongola: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris arrived Tuesday morning in the Northern State, accompanied by a high-level delegation of ministers and senior officials, including the Ministers of Justice, Agriculture, Animal Resources, and Communications, as well as the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Trade and Information, the Director-General of Police Forces, and the Director of Customs.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister and his delegation were received at Dongola Airport by the Wali of the Northern State, Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Abdulhamid, alongside members of the state government and the Security Committee.
Following a meeting with the state government and its Security Committee, the Secretary-General of the State Government, Mahjoub Mohamed Sayid Ahmed, stated that the Prime Minister received a comprehensive briefing on the security, service, and humanitarian conditions in the state, underscoring the significance of the visit at this critical juncture.
He further noted that the visit is expected to advance efforts aimed at improving conditions and enhancing service delivery, with a direct positive impact on citizens' livelihoods.
