Khartoum: Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris commended the performance of the Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources and its achievements during the past period, directing that all obstacles hindering its work be removed so that it can fully carry out its assigned role.According to Sudan News Agency, He made the remarks during a meeting in Khartoum on Thursday with Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources Professor Suleiman Al-Buni.In a press statement, Al-Buni said the meeting reviewed the council's strategy and discussed its external engagements related to climate, environment, desertification and biodiversity. He noted that the council had secured a number of projects during the past period and succeeded in opening avenues for partnerships with major institutions.
