Dongola:Northern State The Ministry of Education in the Northern State has finalized its preparations for the upcoming academic year, set to commence on Sunday, the 27th of this month. This announcement follows the release of primary school certificate results, which saw a success rate of 89.7%.
According to Sudan News Agency, Professor Tijani Ibrahim, Director General of the Ministry of Education and acting Minister, stated that the process of controlling and correcting the intermediate certificate exams is ongoing in Dongola, with results expected to be announced next week.
The first week of the new academic year is designated as Teacher's Week. During this time, class schedules will be organized, teaching staff will undergo training, and any deficiencies in schools will be addressed to prepare for the arrival of students and the start of classes on October 4th. Professor Ibrahim emphasized the Ministry's commitment to enhancing the school environment, providing necessary textbooks and seating, and ensuring teachers' rights are met.
He expressed optimism for a stable academic year and aspirations for the Northern State to uphold its esteemed status in the educational sector.
