Foreign Ministers of Sudan and South Sudan Discuss Bilateral Relations

According to Sudan News Agency, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salem, met with Ambassador Cecilia Adot Manyok, the newly appointed Foreign Minister of South Sudan. During the meeting, he congratulated her on her appointment and wished her success in her role.

Ambassador Salem expressed his readiness to collaborate with his South Sudanese counterpart to enhance bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual interest.

Ambassador Manyok, in turn, conveyed her gratitude for the congratulatory message. She emphasized the significance of bolstering relations between the two nations, especially given the current regional circumstances, and highlighted the importance of ongoing consultations to benefit both countries and their peoples.
