London: The Director General of Police Forces, Gen. Police (Advocate) Khalid Hassan Mohi-Eddin, along with his delegation, inspected the Passport Office in London. This visit took place during his participation in the meetings of the General Assembly of Interpol in its 92nd session held in Glasgow, Britain, from November 4-7. The visit was conducted in the presence of Ambassador Abu Bakr Al-Siddig and other members of the Sudanese Embassy staff in London.
According to Sudan News Agency, during the visit, Gen. Police Khalid Hassan Mohi-Eddin was briefed on the operations of the Passport Office by the Director of the Office, Lt. Colonel Police Saif-Eddin Mustafa Mohamed. Lt. Colonel Mohamed detailed the procedures of issuing passports, emphasizing the efficient and smooth process that meets the needs of those requiring the service. He also highlighted the office’s commitment to enhancing performance and improving immigration services for Sudanese residents in the United Kingdom and their families.

r of the London Passport Office recognized the support from the Police Forces Headquarters, which has significantly improved the passport issuance process domestically and internationally. This improvement is attributed to the opening of a new passport factory in Atbara and the adequate supply of passport books, leading to quicker processing times. It was noted that all passport requests submitted to the London office have been processed without any pending cases.
The Police Press Office reported that Gen. Police Khalid Hassan Mohi-Eddin commended the London Passport Office’s performance and stressed the importance of facilitating immigration procedures and upgrading services. He reiterated the Police Forces Headquarters’ commitment to addressing the needs of Sudanese communities abroad by providing satisfactory immigration services and prioritizing the printing of embassy passports.
