Arab League Condemns Iranian Missile and Drone Attacks on Kuwait

Kuwait city: The Arab League The Arab League has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Iranian attacks on Kuwait, involving missiles and drones, labeling them as flagrant breaches of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817, which was adopted on March 11, 2026.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Arab League has categorically opposed this escalation by Iran, which poses a threat to civilian lives and undermines Kuwait's sovereignty, security, and stability. Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit emphasized in a statement that these attacks are occurring amid significant diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the conflict and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Aboul Gheit commended the efforts of the Kuwaiti air defense forces in repelling the Iranian attacks and reaffirmed the Arab League's unwavering support for Kuwait. He emphasized the organization's commitment to standing with Kuwait as it takes necessary actions to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
