Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan met at the Republican Palace with the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the Horn of Africa, Dr. Annette Weber, in the presence of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Muawiya Othman Khalid.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Weber stated in a press statement that her meeting with the TSC President centered on future plans for engagement between the European Union and the Sudanese government. The discussions included consultations on the political process and potential approaches to regional issues, as well as strategies to restore a regular political transition in the country.
Dr. Weber expressed the European Union's commitment to enhancing its collaboration with the Sudanese government on various issues and matters of mutual interest.
