Merowe: The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, visited Merowe Dam in Northern State. During his inspection, he was briefed on the progress of work at the dam, its technical and operational status, and the ongoing efforts to maintain stable electricity supplies.
According to Sudan News Agency, the TSC President received detailed information on the maintenance and rehabilitation activities at the dam and the associated power generation station. He issued directives to expedite efforts to address technical faults and to secure vital facilities, ensuring the stability of electricity supply and the continuous delivery of essential services to the citizens.
