Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, inspected the GIAD Engineering Industries Group in Al-Bagair, assessing efforts to rehabilitate and restart factories impacted by the Al-Dagalo militia.
According to Sudan News Agency, the TSC President was briefed by GIAD Group Chief Executive Officer Abdalla Abd Al-Ma'rouf on the extent of damage to the group's facilities. The briefing included efforts to rehabilitate and resume operations, as well as plans to restore all sectors of the group to full operation.
General Al-Burhan acknowledged the efforts of GIAD employees in their work to restore industrial and production activities. He emphasized the need to intensify efforts to return GIAD to full operational capacity and reinstate its production lines.
The President highlighted GIAD's role in supporting the national economy and aiding Sudan's reconstruction, including the rehabilitation of infrastructure and facilities damaged during the conflict.
