Khartoum: Governor of Blue Nile Region Lt. Gen. Ahmed Al-Omda Badi urged media professionals to unify their media messaging and strengthen coordination among institutions to ensure accurate reporting and clarify facts to the public.
According to Sudan News Agency, he stressed the need to counter rumors and misleading information by publishing official statements and reliable information. He affirmed that the security situation in the region is stable and safe, and that security agencies and regular forces are working to protect citizens and their property.
He called on media professionals to uphold professionalism and responsibility and focus on facts in a manner that promotes public reassurance and supports stability in the region.
