Khartoum: The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, recently engaged with a delegation from the General Union of the Nuba, led by Mohamed Abu Anga Abu Ras.
According to Sudan News Agency, the delegation extended their congratulations to the TSC President in celebration of the 72nd anniversary of Armed Forces Day. During the meeting, they paid tribute to the martyrs, wished for a swift recovery for the wounded, and expressed hopes for the safe return of those missing.
The head of the delegation emphasized the Union's unwavering support and solidarity with the Armed Forces in their Battle for Dignity. Additionally, he presented plans for the Union's General Founding Conference, which included several community programs and initiatives. These efforts aim to enhance communication with different entities and social groups in Sudan, promote national cohesion, counteract hate speech, and support peace initiatives.
Abu Anga also highlighted the Union's involvement in the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue and reaffirmed their dedication to fostering security and stability in Kordofan's states, while promoting national unity and solidarity.
