Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, held a meeting with Ms. Kate Foster, the Director of African Affairs at the British Foreign Office. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil.
According to Sudan News Agency, Ms. Foster briefed the TSC President on the outcomes of the London Ministerial Conference on Sudan. The Undersecretary explained that the conference experienced broad consensus on numerous points, although disagreement on ensuring the protection of Sudanese state institutions led to the absence of a final statement. One country’s objection to this particular paragraph prevented the consensus needed to issue a statement.
The TSC President expressed gratitude to Ms. Foster for the briefing and acknowledged Britain’s efforts and commitment to supporting Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Ambassador Al-Fadil note

The dialogue between Sudan and Britain will continue, aiming to develop a shared vision that contributes to resolving Sudan’s crisis. Ms. Foster emphasized that the London Conference, chaired by the British Foreign Secretary, involved twenty countries and various organizations, underscoring a collective commitment to supporting Sudan during this critical period.
Ms. Foster highlighted the conference’s significance as part of an ongoing international process involving the African Union, the European Union, the United Nations, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. The conference affirmed the importance of protecting Sudan’s sovereignty, advocating for a ceasefire, and initiating a comprehensive national dialogue involving all Sudanese people to address the nation’s crises and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid.

ants condemned violence and crimes in certain areas and approved the allocation of 800 million pounds sterling for humanitarian aid to Sudan. Ms. Foster reiterated the importance of continuing efforts to safeguard civilians and humanitarian workers while working towards a peaceful resolution.
