Tambour Calls for Sudanese-Led Dialogue Free of External Interference

Khartoum: Wali of Central Darfur commander Mustafa Tambour has called for an inclusive Sudanese-led dialogue free of external interference to address the country's political, economic, and social crises after three years of war.According to Sudan News Agency, Tambour emphasized the necessity for all Sudanese political and societal forces to unite at a single table to deliberate on essential national issues. These discussions would focus on the political process, the drafting of a new constitution, and the restructuring of the governmental system.He further highlighted the urgent need for solutions to the national economic crisis and proposed measures to mend the social divisions exacerbated by the prolonged conflict.Tambour insisted that the dialogue must remain entirely Sudanese, without any external dictates or influence, to pave the way for a consensual roadmap toward security and stability. He described this dialogue as a strategic and pivotal step capable of producing tangible positive outcomes fo r the nation's future.
