Khartoum: The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced in a statement on Thursday that they had liberated several areas in North Kordofan State.
According to Sudan News Agency, the SAF affirmed that they, together with supporting forces, continue to conduct operations across various fighting fronts in fulfillment of their national duty to defend the country's security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The statement added: 'With Allah's aid and guidance, our forces today, Thursday, succeeded in liberating the areas of Kajmar, Sharshar, Al-Baniya Al-Kariniya, Al-Qulai'at, Oulad Hazma, Maqouldat, Rishan, Al-Ga'a, Ghapat-Al-Lagad, Al-Kokaiti, and the area around Al-Mazroub in North Kordofan State, following fierce battles that inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. Our forces pursued the remnants of its fleeing elements as far as the outskirts of Darfur, in addition to conducting extensive mopping-up operations in areas west of El-Obeid.'
The Sudanese Armed Forces affirmed that operations are continuing with determination and steadfastness until the state's sovereignty is fully restored, civilians are secured, and the areas are cleared of the presence of the terrorist militia and its affiliates, with the aim of achieving security and stability throughout the country.
