Port sudan: The Director General of the Seaports Corporation, Engineer Gailani Mohamed Gailani, hosted a significant meeting with representatives from Danfodio Company and the African Association, led by Dr. Adam Mohamed Ahmed, the General Secretary of the Islamic Dawa Organization. The discussions centered on potential collaborations in service provision, joint investments, and fulfilling social responsibilities.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Adam Mohamed Ahmed highlighted the state’s initiative to foster cooperation between the public and private sectors, ensuring alignment with existing regulations and legislation. He affirmed their commitment to providing technical assistance to the Social Responsibility Directorate.
Mohamed Ali Abdullah, Director of the African Association, elaborated on the association’s role as a key component of the Islamic Dawa Organization’s humanitarian efforts, showcasing its extensive experience in humanitarian work. In response, Engineer Gailani confirmed the Seaports Corporation’s openness to partnerships, emphasizing the importance of assigning social responsibility roles to seaports, which have far-reaching impacts beyond the Corporation’s immediate vicinity.
The Deputy Director General for Financial and Administrative Affairs expressed eagerness for partnerships focusing on service and local development. Engineer Ibrahim Youssef, Deputy Director General for Engineering Affairs, endorsed Danfodio’s reputation and expressed the Seaports Corporation’s enthusiasm for collaboration, especially given Danfodio’s expertise across multiple industries.
Issa Dabloub, Director of Social Responsibility, welcomed Danfodio’s cooperative initiative, acknowledging the critical need for humanitarian services in areas such as water provision and well drilling. Moreover, Hala Abu Al Fath from the General Administration of Services underlined their commitment to the humanitarian sector and expressed readiness to work with Danfodio in relevant areas.
