Khartoum: A force from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, led by commander Musa Khamsin, joined the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) on Tuesday in the presence of commander Al-Nour Ahmed Adam (Al-Nour Al-Qubba) and a number of army and intelligence officers.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Nour Al-Qubba stated that the force includes several commanders and personnel, along with a number of armed vehicles. The group arrived in Al-Dabba, Northern State, on Monday before proceeding to Khartoum.
He expressed approval of the force's decision to integrate with the SAF, acknowledging the efforts of the state leadership, armed forces, and supporting forces in facilitating the reintegration of personnel coming from RSF positions.
Musa Khamsin explained their decision to return to the army and the nation, mentioning that other groups were preparing to follow their example. He emphasized the importance of unity and stated that fighting under the RSF banner does not serve the Sudanese people or the interests of Sudan.
He underscored their objective to serve within one army and one nation, aiming to contribute to moving Sudan from a state of war toward stability.
