Khartoum:Prime Minister Prof. Kamil Idris has praised the collaboration between the Central Bank of Sudan, Sudan Currency Printing Press, and the Swiss company K and B.
According to Sudan News Agency, this commendation was made during a meeting in Khartoum with a delegation from K and B, led by Stephen Baumann. The meeting was attended by key officials, including Central Bank of Sudan Governor Amna Mirghani Hassan Al-Tom, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Ali Mohamed Ali, and Director General of Sudan Currency Printing Press Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Rahman Mukhtar.
The Director General of Sudan Currency Printing Press stated that the discussions focused on preparations for the company to resume operations from its headquarters in Khartoum after more than three years of suspension. During this period, the company operated from alternative sites in the River Nile, Northern, and Red Sea states.
Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Rahman Mukhtar also highlighted the strategic relationship between Sudan Currency Printing Press and K and B, which has lasted over three decades. He emphasized that K and B is a leading global company in the manufacture of currency-printing machines and systems, holding more than 85 percent of the global market share.
