Khartoum:Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has reiterated the government's dedication to progressing with Sudan's rebuilding and reconstruction initiatives, utilizing national resources and expertise despite the challenging circumstances the country is facing.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Idris made these statements on Sunday evening during the inauguration of several rehabilitated service facilities in Al-Gireif West, Khartoum. These facilities include a health center, a club, and Al-Gireif West Stadium, all restored under his direct directives. The event was attended by Khartoum State Wali Ahmed Othman Hamza, Director-General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Mohamed Tahir Omar, and various security, police, and executive officials, along with local residents.
The Prime Minister commended the resilience of the Al-Gireif West community, remarking that the reopening of these facilities symbolizes the pride and dignity of the Sudanese people and brings widespread hope throughout the nation.
Dr. Idris extended congratulations to the Sudanese people on the recent victories of the Armed Forces and supporting forces, acknowledging the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces, Joint Forces, General Intelligence Service, police, and mobilized citizens. He also lauded the Sudanese populace for their unwavering support for the Armed Forces.
He reaffirmed the Hope Government's pledge to back the Armed Forces, noting that the conflict imposed on the country is nearing its conclusion and expressing optimism for an impending peace.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the government's commitment to providing essential services such as electricity and water, improving livelihoods, and bolstering reconstruction efforts. He praised the Khartoum State Government and the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company for their contributions.
Moreover, Dr. Idris acknowledged the national media's role in supporting the state and Armed Forces, urging collective efforts to overcome the war's aftermath and rebuild Sudan.
He expressed confidence that determination and resolve would restore Sudan's strength and enable it to reclaim its position among leading nations. Residents of Al-Gireif West reaffirmed their support for the Armed Forces and the Hope Government, committing to ongoing reconstruction efforts.
