Khartoum: Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris met Monday in Khartoum with Vice-Chancellor of the University of Khartoum Professor Imadeldin Elamin Eltahir Aradaib. The discussions focused on the essential role of the Committee for the Reconstruction of Post-War Sudan and emphasized efforts towards social cohesion.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting highlighted the necessity of overcoming challenges that are preventing the commencement of the academic year at the University of Khartoum. Both leaders acknowledged the need to address these obstacles to ensure the smooth resumption of educational activities.
Additionally, the dialogue underscored the significance of preparing student accommodation. This preparation is to be carried out through coordination and cooperation with relevant authorities, aimed at improving the living conditions for students and facilitating their academic pursuits.
