Khartoum: Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris met with Professor Mamoun Homaida, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Medical Sciences, in Khartoum on Monday.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting focused on the voluntary return of university professors, academics, and students. Professor Homaida highlighted the government's ongoing efforts to create favorable conditions for the return of Sudanese citizens, despite the challenging circumstances the country faces.
Professor Homaida acknowledged the University of Medical Sciences and Technology's decision to return to Sudan along with all its professors and students. He expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in executing the plan for universities to return and resume classes at their Khartoum campuses without exception.
