Khartoum: Nabil Adeeb, a member of the Sudanese-Sudanese Dialogue Committee, emphasized that the committee's legitimacy is founded on its acceptance by the Sudanese populace and its capacity to fulfill its commitments. He clarified that the committee does not claim to have a mandate from any official authority.
According to Sudan News Agency, Adeeb spoke at a press conference held at Al-Salam Rotana Hotel in Khartoum, where he reiterated that the committee's authority is not derived from any official body. Instead, it relies on the extent of its acceptance among the Sudanese people and its effectiveness in achieving its stated goals.
Adeeb further elaborated that the success of the committee would be measured by its ability to facilitate a conducive environment for the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue and to meet its declared objectives. He underlined that acceptance and trust are crucial for the committee's ongoing efforts.
