Atbara:A massive march took place in Atbara, River Nile State, supporting Sudan's sovereignty and the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, under the banner of "Friday of Popular Anger."
According to Sudan News Agency, participants voiced their opposition to the United States' decision to deny an entry visa to Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, preventing him from attending the United Nations General Assembly. The marchers expressed their continued support for the armed forces and called for the liberation of remaining territories.
Speakers at the event criticized the U.S. for denying the visa, arguing that it is unjust to prevent any member from participating in the UN General Assembly. They also rejected the condition that Burhan's participation be contingent on a truce in the country.
