Khartoum:The Governor of Khartoum, Mr. Ahmed Osman Hamza, revealed the results of the primary school certificate examinations at a press conference held at the Ministry of National Education in Khartoum North, announcing an overall pass rate of 87%.
According to Sudan News Agency, East Nile locality and Karari locality both secured the top position with a total of 279 points, with participation from Omdurman, Khartoum, and Bahri localities. Governor Ahmed Osman Hamza extended his congratulations to the State Ministry of Education, teachers, and the Armed Forces, acknowledging their role in achieving this significant milestone. He emphasized the important contributions of teachers who persevered through challenges to ensure student success and pledged to enhance educational services and support for educators.
Acting Minister Abdul Latif Shaker Abdul Latif, Director General of the Ministry of National Education and Training, also expressed his appreciation for the teachers and official bodies that contributed to the students' achievements. He noted the efforts of the Governor in championing education within the state.
Zakaria Mahmoud, Director of the General Administration for Evaluation and Measurement, lauded the dedication of the students and highlighted Sudan's resilience, underscoring the crucial role played by the media in this accomplishment. Several teachers were involved in the announcement of the exam results.
