Justice Minister Urges Al-Gezira and Al-Managil Project Producers to Focus on Development

Khartoum: Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Dirif on Thursday met with Major General Abu Agla Mohamed Ahmed Kaykal, Commander of the Sudan Shield Forces, accompanied by representatives of Al-Gezira and Al-Managil Project Producers Organization.

According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting was attended by Sudan's Attorney General and Head of the Legal Sector, Alaa Al-Din Ahmed Al-Sayed, as well as the Registrar General of Agricultural and Animal Production Professions and the Registrar General of Companies. The Justice Minister praised the consensus achieved within the organization's General Assembly, noting that farmers of the Gezira Project had set an example in reaching agreement. He called for intensified efforts to support, develop, and advance the project, describing it as the locomotive of the national economy, its backbone, and a foundation for development and stability.

For his part, Commander Kaykal commended the role of the Ministry of Justice, represented by the Registrar of Agricultural and Animal Production Professions, in establishing agricultural organizations and addressing farmers' concerns. He noted that farmers had been among those supporting the Battle of Dignity, affirming that Al-Gezira farmers remain committed to the project so that it can regain its historic position and contribute to advancing Sudan's economy.
